Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American Actor, best known as a star of the well-known TV series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began during his college years. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. The characters he has played on television have earned him plenty of popularity. He has the ability to portray each of the characters on behalf of police officers and different. This is what makes him so popular. In the first television show in which he played the role of a killer. He then went on to take on the role of an NYPD Detective. His performances on small screens were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is thought to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered as a signature and helped in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour.
